Fleece to Fashion: Award Entries Now Open

A celebration of fashion and farming, the New England’s annual Fleece to Fashion shares the story of Australian Merino wool and its place within the global fashion industry. This coming November 2023, Fleece to Fashion will make a welcome return to the region. Entries to the fashion awards are now open and with a host of special prizes and amazing opportunities up for grabs, now’s the time to leap for your fleece-lined dreams.

Renowned for its superfine Merino production, the New England has been home to Fleece to Fashion, or F2F as it is lovingly known, for over 10 years. Held in the iconic Deeargee Station Woolshed just out of Uralla NSW, F2F promotes the versatility, sustainability and unique nature of Merino wool and aims to secure its place as the most used natural fibre in Australian fashion.

A not-for-profit organisation led by a multidisciplinary team with a collective century of fashion experience, the Fleece to Fashion competition acts as a launchpad for aspiring designers. With over eight different categories to choose from, F2F encourages emerging designers from across Australia to explore their creativity and experiment with wool in all its dimensions. First place cash awards will be awarded by designers Akira Isogawa and Jonathon Ward.

Friday 24 November 2023 – A Very Fleece to Fashionable Brunch

Saturday 25 November 2023 – Fleece to Fashion Awards and Gala Presentation Dinner
